AWAIT-
Adoption Waiting: Anxiety, Intensity, Triumph! The AWAIT!
Waiting families support and sharing group is designed
to allow equal sharing of adoption experiences and leads
within the group. A teamwork atmosphere helps all remain
focused on the goal of building friends and families
through adoption. A mentoring program is designed to
give each waiting family the option of a "buddy" who
has recently completed the adoption process. We invite
you to try it once to see if it works for you!
SNAP-
Support for New Adoptive Parents, the transitional support
group for parents during the first year in their new
role. SNAP is a support group for new adoptive families,
focusing on parenting issues and adoption issues. SNAP
is an eight session program, spread over 4 months designed
for both parents and their baby.
